Stand & Salute "Liberty"

What a beautiful start to a long weekend! Yesterday my husband, niece and I went to Philadelphia for the day; wow was there a lot of people. We had a fabulous day their, all the historic sightseeing and the philly cheesesteak, yum! We took over 100 pictures, here is a layout for a picture that we took at the Liberty Bell.

Created with:
Bazzill ~ white 12 x 12
DCWV Old World Stack ~ Blue background paper
DCWV Autumn Splendor ~ Red glitter paper for star
The other blue & white paper is scrap that I am trying to use up
I inked the edges on the liberty bell border using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken china and I also popped "Liberty" and the border for some more demension.
That is pretty much it, a very simple layout
Enjoy the rest of your day

Stand & Salute 4th of July decoration

What a beautiful day it was here in New Jersey today. Earlier this morning I went Garage Sale Hopping with my cousin, nothing worth bragging about I only spent $5, I hope we have better luck next weekend. Anyway this afternoon I decided to get my Stand & Salute cartridge out and see what kind of decoration I could come up with. I LOVE this cartridge it has so much to offer without being all about the military. Definately going to keep this one out. Here are my decorations, I didn't take pics of all of them, I only used the 2 images below but made four of each for my windows.

Created with
Stand & Salute Cartridge
Gina K Paper ~ Pure Luxury heavy base weight 120lb
Value Pack paper for the blue
DCWV Mi Casa paper stack for the red ~ notice it has shimmer in the "fireworks" cut

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

New Arrival Diaper Cake

I made this diaper cake for my cousins baby's shower. I used New Arrival for the animals, A Child's Year for the "Its a Boy", and Plantin SchoolBook for the grass and I used the cuttlebug to emboss the characters. Also added acrylic binkies from Michaels all round along with ribbon also from Michaels
Leave a comment, I would love to hear from you.

Let's get this started

Where to start!? I created this blog about a year ago if not more but I never went through it. I think it scared me. So here I am getting it started and wanting to share with you my creations and some stories. Come join me in this journey and I hope that we both enjoy this and that we can all learn from one another and share our creativness.
I have created some items during these past months, some with my cricut, which I LOVE, and others without. But I hope to create a lot more with my cricut. I haven't gotten the E2 yet because I am waiting for some of the kinks to get resolved before purchasing yet along witht the Craftroom. I like using my cricut with the DS so I'm really not in a huge hurry. I also own the YUDU but it has been sitting in the box for about a year now, I need to get over my fear and start creating some t-shirts! All will come in due time.
